The data controller is Marketly OÜ (Estonian Business Registry code available upon request), operating the platform at marketly.ee. You can contact us at privacy@marketly.ee for any data-related matters.
We collect data provided during account creation (name, email), listing data, communication data, and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited).
We use data to provide and improve the service, display listings, provide support, and ensure security. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the platform.
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds under GDPR Article 6: (a) Performance of a contract — to provide the marketplace service; (b) Legitimate interests — for fraud prevention, security, and improving the platform; (c) Legal obligation — to comply with Estonian and EU law; (d) Consent — for optional features such as marketing emails and analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only to comply with legal obligations or with your consent.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To delete your account, contact our support at support@marketly.ee.
We use the following third-party service providers to operate the platform: Stripe (payment processing, Ireland), Supabase (database hosting, EU), Vercel (application hosting, EU edge), Resend (transactional email), Sentry (error monitoring), Cloudflare (CDN and storage), Google Analytics (website analytics, only with your consent). Each provider processes data under their own privacy policy and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your data is anonymized within 30 days and permanently removed within 90 days. Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by accounting regulations.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Essential cookies are necessary for the service to function. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only loaded after you grant consent via our cookie banner. You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time. For any data protection enquiries, requests to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, or restriction), or to raise a concern, contact us at: privacy@marketly.ee. We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR Article 12.
If you believe your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee) or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
